From 1 to 4 October 2026, Hanoi will host the second World Culture Festival, one of Vietnam’s major international cultural festivals. The theme of the 2026 edition is “Converging Heritage — Shaping the Future”.
Thirty-nine countries from five continents have confirmed their participation. The programme includes World Culture Village, the Cuisine of Five Continents festival, international concerts, film screenings, introductions to traditional musical instruments, creative activities and the Colours of Five Continents street festival. The opening is scheduled for 1 October and the closing for 4 October.
The main venue will be the historic Imperial Citadel of Thăng Long. For tourists and expats, it is an international cultural-exchange event rather than only a local celebration. Detailed ticket information has not yet been published.
