On 19, 20, 26 and 27 September 2026, Nha Trang Observatory will run special evening sessions for visitors. The programme runs from 18:00 to 20:30 and begins in the planetarium, where six projectors create a night-sky image across the dome, followed by an introduction to the observatory's main telescope.
In good weather, visitors can add direct observation through the large telescope. This option costs an additional 50,000 VND and depends on cloud conditions. The standard ticket is 139,000 VND, with an additional 31,000 VND fee for foreign visitors. No entry is allowed after 18:35.
The observatory sits on Hòn Chồng Hill overlooking the sea and operates under the Vietnam National Space Center. For visitors, it is an unusual alternative to Nha Trang's standard evening entertainment; tickets are available through Ticketbox.
