International Tea Festival — Thai Nguyen 2026

From 30 October to 7 November 2026, Thai Nguyen will host the International Tea Festival under the theme “Thái Nguyên — Đệ nhất danh trà”. The main programme will spread across Võ Nguyên Giáp Square, the city's pedestrian centre and the tea areas of Tân Cương, Đồng Hỷ, La Bằng, Vô Tranh and Đồng Phúc.
The opening takes place on the evening of 30 October with an artistic programme and fireworks. The schedule includes the International Tea Forum, World Master Tea Vietnam, tastings from five tea regions, evening concerts, a tea street, a food zone and a special Heritage Train between Hanoi and Thai Nguyen. A dedicated food programme will present around 150 dishes and drinks made with tea.
For visitors, this is more than an exhibition: the festival can be combined with a trip to tea plantations and an introduction to one of northern Vietnam's most characteristic agricultural products. Admission for the main public areas has not yet been announced.
