From 12 to 17 November 2026, Hanoi will host the Global Crafts Festival, an international traditional-crafts festival bringing together more than 2,000 artisans from over 100 countries and territories across five continents. Vietnam will present around 1,000 artisans, including makers from Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk, Ha Thai lacquerware and Dong Ho folk painting.
The programme includes a major international exhibition, the Global Craft Award, live workshops, art installations, performances, a craft photography exhibition and special craft tours to traditional villages and cultural landmarks. The main venue will be the Vietnam Exposition Center (VEC) in Dong Anh.
The festival is designed not only for industry professionals but also for tourists and anyone interested in cultures from around the world. Organisers have not yet published one standard admission price.
