Son Tra is a green peninsula beside Da Nang, where forest, coves and bay views meet the city shoreline. At Bai But, Linh Ung Pagoda looks out over the sea and city; its landmark is a 67-metre statue of the Bodhisattva Quan The Am.

The pagoda is about 10 km from central Da Nang, reached by the coastal Hoang Sa road. Visitors can travel by taxi, car or motorbike. Entry is free; parking is charged separately. Check current access and road restrictions before setting out.

This is an active Buddhist place of worship, so dress modestly and be considerate. Son Tra is important for wildlife: do not feed monkeys or approach wild animals. Do not join night treks or ecotourism tours in the special-use forest without official permission; some routes are restricted. Check local advisories before visiting.
