Rú Chá — Autumn Colours is a photography contest about the mangrove forest and the landscapes and community life connected with it in Hóa Châu Ward, Hue. Visitors, expats, students, local residents, travel bloggers and amateur photographers are encouraged to take part; a professional camera is not required. The programme runs from 27 September to 30 November 2026.
Submit photos by 23:59 on 31 October. The five themes are nature, people and daily life, travel experiences, green perspectives and a story in a moment. Judging and online voting are scheduled for 5–10 November; the awards and closing programme are set for 26–30 November. Total prizes are VND 34.5 million in cash plus gift vouchers; the first prize is VND 8 million plus a VND 2 million voucher.
Vietnamese citizens and foreign nationals visiting, living, studying or working in Vietnam may enter; participants under 18 need consent from a parent or legal guardian. AI-generated or substantially AI-altered and misleading composite images are not accepted. Normal cropping and adjustments to light, contrast, colour and sharpness are allowed if the scene remains truthful. Drone users are responsible for required permits.
