Po Nagar Cham Towers stand on Cù Lao Hill by the mouth of the Cai River. They are among Champa’s most important heritage sites and remain an active place of worship, where Cham traditions meet the local veneration of the Mother Goddess Thiên Y A Na.
The complex preserves brick towers built from the mid-8th to the 13th century. The main tower, about 23 metres tall, is dedicated to Po Nagar. From the terraces, look out over the Cai River, Xóm Bóng Bridge and Nha Trang Bay.
The provincial tourism listing gives opening hours as 06:00–17:30. Under Provincial Resolution 20/2022/NQ-HĐND, admission is 30,000 VND per person; exemptions apply to certain visitor categories. Confirm current arrangements on site.
This is a living sacred place: local residents and pilgrims still come to pray and make offerings. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees; free wraps are available at the entrance. Inside the towers, remove headwear, keep quiet and do not touch altars, statues or ancient brickwork. Do not interrupt ceremonies, and ask before photographing people.
