Phu Quoc is a large island in southwest Vietnam best explored by area. Compare Bai Sao, Long Beach and the quieter northern shores; visit Ham Ninh fishing village for seascapes and local seafood. Sea and road conditions vary by season, so check before setting out.

In September 2026, park authorities said procedures for forest-environment leases for ecotourism were still underway and warned applicants against brokers. This concerns leases, not a visitor schedule; ask the park directly which routes are currently accessible: official notice.
