Cai Rang is a traditional wholesale market on a river in Can Tho. Boats sell fruit, vegetables and other goods; samples hang from poles at the bow.
Trading is mainly in the morning, usually 04:30–08:00. Aim to be on the water around 05:00. Small boats also sell breakfast and coffee.
Boats depart, among other places, from Ninh Kieu and An Binh piers. Confirm the exact pier, route and fare with the operator; there is no single fixed fare. Trips may stop in bad weather. Wear a life jacket.
