Duyên Sắc Ba Miền has opened at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, bringing together women artists from Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Until 31 October, visitors can see 43 works by 21 participants: varied materials and styles form a conversation about nature, people, memory and personal experience.
The title combines the idea of an encounter with that of an individual artistic voice. The artists draw on daily life, family stories and their own observations. The shared theme leaves room for differences in colour, line and ways of speaking about familiar things.
The exhibition marks Vietnamese Women's Day. It was organized by Da Nang Museum and the city's women artists' group, with support from the city's Union of Literature and Arts Associations. The works are displayed at the Fine Arts Museum, 78 Lê Duẩn.
