An international lantern festival will take place in Hoi An Old Town on 3–6 December 2026, centred on Hoài River Square and An Hội Sculpture Garden. The opening ceremony is on 3 December at 19:00. The programme includes light installations, workshops and a lantern procession on 4 December. This is a separate international festival, distinct from the monthly full-moon celebration. Admission prices have not been announced.
